Mariana is Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Management, Leadership and Organisations at Middlesex University Business School. With more than 15 years in UK academia, Mariana has solid knowledge and understanding of the different facets of Higher Education. Most recently, she was Head of Subject, Strategic Management, at Hertfordshire Business School. An expert in strategic management, innovation and change management, Mariana has built a wealth of experience and a successful career spanning Senior Management, Partnership Management, Research Management and Organisational Transformation. She has a proven track record at enhancing individual and team performance and facilitating cohesion and organisational improvement. An energetic and innovative change agent who brings a personable, engaging and communicative approach to each project, she has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic and critical thinking, ability to manage resources efficiently and drive performance through internal and external collaboration.
