Dr. Matthew Pauley is a Senior Lecturer of Entrepreneurship and Sustainability at MDX. He is an award-winning teacher, Fellow with the Higher Education Academy and completed his PhD in Entrepreneurship from the University of St Andrews. He has been a Visiting Researcher (Dublin City University) and Visiting Lecturer (University of Canada) with over 20 years' experience as an entrepreneur. His research is in entrepreneurial exits, micro/small and family businesses. Current research projects include family succession in the Irish and Canadian lobster fishing industry, Indigenous Entrepreneurs and Social Networks in Financial Harvests.
