Ian Roper is Associate Professor in the Department of Management Leadership and Organisation. He has previously had roles as Director of Programmes and acting Head of Department. Externally Ian is an member of the British Sociological Association and an Academic Member of the Chartrered Institute of Personnel and Development. He is an editor for the journal Work, Employment and Society. He was visiting research fellow at the University of Sydney in 2010.
