If you have any questions about entry requirements and the suitability of your qualifications, please contact your regional team.

      Undergraduate entry requirements

      Entry to year one

For entry to most undergraduate courses, you must have completed the Orta Ixtisas Məktəbləri (Technical/Vocational College Diploma) with an overall minimum grade of 3.5 or  3 for our Foundation Year programmes.

For the International Foundation Programme we accept the Certificate of Secondary Education (Attestat) - minimum average grade 3.0 on a 5-point scale.

You must also meet our standard English Language Requirements. If you don't meet these or one of our other accepted tests, we offer a Pre-sessional English course.

Entry to year two or three

If you have successfully passed at least one year's higher studies in a relevant subject area you may able to enter directly onto the second or third year of one of our undergraduate degrees as a transfer student. We require 60 ECTS for entry to year two, and 120 ECTS for entry to year three. Acceptance is based on a curriculum match between your prior study and the syllabus at Middlesex.

You must also meet our standard English Language Requirements, and as part of the application process you will need to provide a letter of reference from an academic source and a personal statement.

      Postgraduate entry requirements

For most postgraduate courses you must hold a Diplomu (Specialist Diploma) or Bakalavr Diplomu (Bachelor degree) with a min of ‘Good’.

Some courses will have prerequisites, such as prior study in a specific subject, work-experience or the submission of a portfolio. Full details can be found within the specific course information page.

You must also meet our standard English Language Requirements. If you don't meet our English language requirements, we offer a Pre-sessional English course.
