Ways to study

There isn't just one way to study with us

We offer different paths so you can find something that is right for your situation including your academic knowledge, professional skills and personal circumstances.

Start with a foundation year

If you feel you’re not quite ready for degree-level study, or don’t have the right qualifications, our foundation year courses could be the answer.

You’ll study with us for an extra year before starting your degree to build your confidence and gain the skills you need for undergraduate study.

The teachers really want you to do well in your foundation year. With their support and the one-to-ones I did really well - I got a first so I was really happy and they were all proud of me.

Ana Oliveira, Biomedical Science

Part-time study

Part-time study is a great way to complete an undergraduate or postgraduate degree while still working or keeping other commitments.

You can study at your own pace and divide the cost up into smaller chunks.

“Part-time study at Middlesex has allowed me to pursue my passion with a master’s while continuing to work.” Ant Babajee, MSc Applied Public Health
