Giulia is a PhD student in international law under the supervision of Professor William Schabas. Her current research deals with the crime of aggression as understood by the US Administration.

She has got a LLM in Human Rights (2010) and obtain some practical human rights experience such as her internship at the Italian Permanent Representation to the Council of Europe (Strasbourg, 2009), or the one at the Italian Ministry of Justice (Rome, DG Human Rights, 2010). Also, she has worked for the legal associate of DPI, a NGO placed in London (2012).

In 2013 she has worked as teaching assistant at Middlesex University (2013).
