      Undergraduate entry requirements

      Entry to year one

For entry to most undergraduate courses, you must have completed either:

      • State Apolytirion when awarded after six years of study with a minimum grade of 17 - 18, depending on the course you are applying for
      • A combination of both Apolytirion and A-levels
      • Devlet Lise Diplomasi (State High School Diploma) plus an acceptable international foundation year

If you have only completed Devlet Lise Diplomasi you may be considered for our one-year International Foundation Programme. Students who successfully complete the one-year International Foundation at Middlesex will automatically progress onto a Middlesex degree.

Each course will have specific grade requirements and some will have prerequisites, such as prior study in a specific subject or submission of a portfolio. Full details can be found within the specific course information page.

You must also meet our standard English Language Requirements. We accept the Apolyterion in English with a final average of
18/20. If you don't meet these, we offer a Pre-sessional English course.

As part of the application process, you will need to provide a letter of reference from an academic source and a personal statement.

Entry to year two or three

If you have successfully passed at least one year's higher studies in a relevant subject area you may able to enter directly onto the second or third year of one of our undergraduate degrees as a transfer student. We require 60 ECTS for entry to year two, and 120 ECTS for entry to year three. Acceptance is based on a curriculum match between your prior study and the syllabus at Middlesex.

You must also meet our standard English Language Requirements, and as part of the application process you will need to provide a letter of reference from an academic source and a personal statement.

      Postgraduate entry requirements

For most postgraduate courses, you must have completed a bachelor degree (Ptychio) from Open University of Cyprus or University of Cyprus or Cyprus University of Technology with a minimum of 6.5 GPA overall and for all other private Universities an overall grade of 2.5 is required depending on the course.

Some courses will have prerequisites, such as prior study in a specific subject, work-experience or the submission of a portfolio. Full details can be found within the specific course information page.

You must also meet our standard English Language Requirements. If you don't meet our English language requirements, we offer a Pre-sessional English course.

Our MBA courses require at least two years of post-graduation work experience at management level, and in some cases a GMAT score of over 550 will also be required.

As part of the application process you will need to provide two letters of reference from academic sources and a personal statement.
