      Undergraduate entry requirements

      Entry to year one

For entry to most undergraduate courses, you must have completed Matura with an overall minimum grade of 2.6 - 2.0, depending on the programme you apply for.

You must also meet our standard English Language Requirements. We accept Matura with grade 2 in English when both written and oral exams have been taken. If you don't meet these or one of our other accepted tests, we offer a Pre-sessional English course.

As part of the application process you will need to provide a letter of reference from an academic source and a personal statement.

Entry to year two or three

If you have successfully passed at least one year's higher studies in a relevant subject area you may able to enter directly onto the second or third year of one of our undergraduate degrees as a transfer student. We require 60 ECTS for entry to year two, and 120 ECTS for entry to year three. Acceptance is based on a curriculum match between your prior study and the syllabus at Middlesex.

You must also meet our standard English Language Requirements, and as part of the application process you will need to provide a letter of reference from an academic source and a personal statement.

      Postgraduate entry requirements

For most postgraduate courses you must hold a good first degree, or four years of higher study in an academic institution, as part of a five-year master's degree course. We accept a Bachelor degree, Diplomstudium / Magister,  minimum 3 years total study bestanden (pass).

Some courses will have prerequisites, such as prior study in a specific subject, work-experience or the submission of a portfolio. Full details can be found within the specific course information page.

You must also meet our standard English Language Requirements. If you don't meet our English language requirements, we offer a Pre-sessional English course. We also accept Matura / Reifeprufung: 2 (gut) in English when both written and oral exams have been taken.

As part of the application process you will need to provide two letters of reference from academic sources and a personal statement.
