Depending on which level of study you are applying for there are a number of ways to submit your application:

Level of study | Entry requirements |
Undergraduate - Year 1 | For entry to most undergraduate courses, you must have completed Leaving Certificate passed at Higher / Honours level with a minimum H3 H3 H3 H3, depending on the course you are applying for. As part of the application process you will need to provide a letter of reference from an academic source and a personal statement. |
Undergraduate - Year 2 and 3 | If you have successfully passed at least one year's higher studies in a relevant subject area you may able to enter directly onto the second or third year of one of our undergraduate degrees as a transfer student. We require 60 ECTS for entry to year two, and 120 ECTS for entry to year three. Acceptance is based on a curriculum match between your prior study and the syllabus at Middlesex. As part of the application process you will need to provide a letter of reference from an academic source and a personal statement. |
Postgraduate | For most postgraduate courses, you must have completed a good Bachelor Degree, equivalent to a British second-class Honours Degree. Some courses will have prerequisites, such as prior study in a specific subject, work-experience or the submission of a portfolio. Full details can be found within the specific course information page. Our MBA courses require at least two years of post-graduation work experience at management level, and in some cases a GMAT score of over 550 will also be required. As part of the application process you will need to provide two letters of reference from academic sources and a personal statement. |
We are pleased to offer a range of international scholarships and merit awards to international students.

We also offer a European Academic Award of £1000 - £5000 to individuals who have demonstrated academic excellence in their final grades. Applications are open until 31st July for European Union citizens and residents. Applicants will need to hold a Middlesex University offer. This award is given as a discount to tuition fees for the first year of study. Final qualifications will be required to apply for this scholarship. Undergraduate students from the EU may be eligible to apply to Student Finance England (SFE) for a student loan to cover the cost of their fees, and may also be eligible for a loan to cover living costs.
